THE MINIMALLY INVASIVE SPINE INSTITUTE APPROACH

Back and neck procedures done through a 3 mm incision. Pain mapping so precise that one laser procedure can remove a lifetime of agony. State-of-the-art surgeries so minimally invasive they often only require a Band-Aid® for healing. At the Minimally Invasive Spine Institute, big breakthroughs happen every day. Find out today how we can end your back and neck pain forever.

Minimally Invasive Conditions

Herniated Disc

A herniated disc is sometimes referred to as a slipped disc or a ruptured disc. It is often the result of an injury or trauma to the spine.

Bulging Disc

A bulging disc is a condition related to the spine, usually the lower back, occurring when a disc bulges through a crevice in the spine.

Degenerative Disc

Degenerative disc disease is not really a disease, but a term used to describe the normal changes in your spinal discs as you age.

Arthritis (Spine) And Bone Spurs

Arthritis can affect any part of the body, even the spine. It occurs when the cartilage in the joints is worn down as a result of wear and tear, aging, injury or misuse.

Facet Disease

The facet joints are the joint structures that connect the vertebrae to one another. Facet disease occurs when there is degeneration of the facet joint.

Pinched Nerve

A pinched nerve occurs when too much pressure is applied to a nerve by surrounding tissues such as bone spurs, disc herniation and ligaments.

Spinal Stenosis

Spinal stenosis is a narrowing of one or more areas in your spine most often in your upper or lower back. This narrowing can put pressure on your spinal cord or on the nerves that branch out from the compressed areas.

Foraminal Stenosis

Quite similar to spinal stenosis, foraminal stenosis primarily affects one or more areas of your spine.

Scoliosis

Scoliosis is an abnormal curvature of the spine. If your child has scoliosis, the view from behind may reveal one or more abnormal curves.

Minimally Invasive Fusion

Utilizing an advanced imaging-guidance system, Minimally Invasive Fusion is a special MISI procedure that is used as a last resort to stabilize the spine without opening the back muscles.
